Notice of Supervised Election
A secret ballot election for the offices of President, Vice President and Secretary Treasurer for the unexpired term ending on March 15, 2028, is being conducted by mail. Ballots for this election are being mailed to members on March 10, 2026. Any eligible member who has not received a ballot in the mail at home by March 15, 2026, or any member who spoils a ballot may request a new ballot by contacting OLMS at DOL-APWU-LOCAL-232-ELECTION@dol.gov. If you request and return another ballot, only the replacement ballot will be counted. A replacement ballot package can be requested up to 5:00 PM on April 9, 2026, but requesting later in the period could result in the ballot being received after the tally.
Members eligible to vote are all members of APWU Local 232 as of March 1, 2026, who remain in good standing through April 9, 2026, and who are not management officials. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, those members serving in a temporary supervisory position (204-B) are eligible to vote.
Detailed instructions on marking and returning the ballot are contained on the back of ballot.
The election is being held as a result of a Voluntary Compliance Agreement. Any member in good standing may protest the supervised election for valid cause; such protest should be made directly to the Department of Labor Election Supervisor in writing at any time before, during, or within 10 days after the election by noon on April 20, 2026, at DOL-APWU-LOCAL-232-ELECTION@dol.gov.
Important: Mail your ballot in sufficient time for it to be received at Box 320, 118 Graceland Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43214 no later than 10:00 a.m. on April 10, 2026. The ballot tally will take place on April 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at 610 Lancaster Avenue, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
