SUPERVISED ELECTION NOMINATIONS


Nominations for a Supervised Election will take place at the beginning of the February 18, 2026, General Membership Meeting, which will begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Office of Labor Management Standards (OLMS) will oversee the supervised election for the positions of President, Vice President and Treasurer for the term ending March 15, 2028.

To run for an elected officer position within the American Postal Workers Union Local 232, all candidates must sign a Certification for Candidacy and a LMRDA Section 504 Certification. Both forms are available at the Union Hall
during regular business hours or upon email request to DOL-APWU-LOCAL-232-ELECTION@dol.gov and must be submitted by the beginning of the nomination meeting to the Election Committee Chair and emailed to the DOL Election Supervisor: DOL-APWU-LOCAL-232-ELECTION@dol.gov .

Written nominations must be received by 5:00 pm, close of business on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, and must be emailed to:

Nominations and the election are being held as a result of a Voluntary Compliance Agreement. Any member in good standing may protest the supervised election for valid cause; such protest should be made directly to the Department of Labor Election Supervisor in writing at any time before, during, or within 10 days after the election (by noon on April 20, 2026, at DOL-APWU-LOCAL-232-ELECTION@dol.gov .
